Reminders/Clarifications for Thursday, 5/28

• There are no morning practices at the pool for Thursday.
• No Junior Crocs on Thursday - we will offer a makeup session on Friday, 5/29 at the pool at 9:30am before Fun Friday at 10am.

Safe-Dive Certification - if your child would like to be able to dive for swim races or use the starting blocks, then they need to be checked off as being trained for the Safe-Dive Certification process. 

• Where: This can be done on Thursday at the Swim Atlanta Midway location (5059 Post Road, Cumming, 30040).
• When: Thursday, drop in anytime from 9am - 11:45am - there is no set age group time. The certification process can take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes depending on # swimmers and how much instruction is needed.
• If you can't make it on Thursday, but your child is swimming in the meet, they will either jump off the side of the pool or can start in the water.
• Another opportunity will be on June 4 from 10am-12pm at the same location.

Meet Info – Thursday, May 28 at Glenn Abbey (3600 Grey Abbey Drive, Alpharetta, GA 30022)

****Arrive ~4:15 – 4:30pm – our bullpen area will be on the Sports Court next to the pool – look for our blue tents and age group signs

****Check-in with Coaches (swimmers) and Megan Melchiors (all volunteers) at the Volunteer Check-in Table - will be set up just outside of the Bullpen area

****Warmup - 4:55 - 5:15 (6&U only swim 1 length of the pool for warmup – just enough to get the layout of the pool)

****5:15pm – Timers/Place Judges Meeting with the ASA Official on the pool deck

****Meet starts at 5:30pm

****This pool has 8 lanes and uses an electronic timing system. This meet will go fast.
