Meet Information and Updates
Meet Information (details about Thursday’s meet are included) & Updates
For our new families, the first few weeks of swimming can be extremely overwhelming – making it to practices, signing up for volunteer positions and swim meets, knowing when to arrive and what to do…it is a lot for the first season. Hang in there and ask questions and we will help you get your sea legs. Here is a video that walks you through the volunteering positions and what those look like at a swim meet. It will explain everything from a Home Meet perspective, but all of the meets, regardless of location run in the same process.
Cooler Temps – Today was cold and tomorrow will be cold as well. We understand if you keep your kids home as parent instincts and safety come first. For those swimmers that come to Wednesday practice, they can expect to do part dry land and part swimming. For the 6&U they will have the option to get in the water for 15 minutes or stay out of the water and do “dryland” exercises for practice.
Wednesday Schedule – we will have hot chocolate for after practice!
8:15 – 9:00 9/10 practice
9:05 – 9:50 7/8 practice
10:00 – 10:30 Clinics – signup link
10:30 – 11:00 6&U
11:00 – 11:45 11&up
Thursday Schedule – Swim Team
8:30 Arrive for Individual pictures (CLIX photography will take pictures of ALL swimmers and send out a link after pictures for the option to order individual/team pictures)

10:00 – 11:00 Practice Meet – the Coaches will be the swimmers, referee and timers and will walk your kids through a “Real Swim Meet” – they will show them RELAYS and INDIVIDUAL RACES.
**NEW PARENTS – this is a great opportunity for you to watch and see how races work in summer swimming, so we encourage you to watch as well.
Thursday – Swim Meet – Away

PARKING:
There is street parking in the neighborhood and there will be signs directing you which side of the streets you may park on. Please adhere to the signs so we can be respectful of the neighborhood HOA's rules and please be aware of the no parking zones on the corners of the streets surrounding the pool as this is a safety issue.
SEATING:
Bring your own chairs for the meet. There is no seating provided There is some seating space on one side of the pool deck, as well as some seating space outside of the pool fence in the grass. Early in the meet, there is no shade on deck. One side of the pool is closed to spectators so the official and volunteers can have an unobstructed path by the pool.
