Hi Parents!

As we are winding down with the final 2 meets of the season, we are also ramping up with a few more opportunities, so this email will be full of information!

• 1)Meet Signups close tonight at 11:30pm, so make sure to declare whether your swimmer(s) is swimming or not. Also, sign up for a volunteer shift! Signups
• 2)The ASA League Championship Meet is Friday, June 28 at 9:30am – 1:00pm. If your swimmer(s) are planning to go, please send the following – what 2 events they want to swim. We will need volunteers to work the meet while we are down there (most likely timing), so if you want to volunteer now for 1^st half or 2^nd half, let us know that as well. Cost is $48 (Cash, Check, Zelle or Venmo). Reach out to [email protected] to reply with entries and payment options.
  • a. Arrival time (probably 8:00am) and further details will come on Friday to those who have entered into the meet.
  • b. Let us know no later than Thursday at 11:00pm if your swimmer(s) is going.
  • c. If you know that you are definitely going, send us an email and we will go ahead and send you the link to purchase parking for the morning on June 28 at GA Tech. [email protected]
• 3)The ASA Meet is a GRPA State Qualifying Meet. If your swimmer just can’t get enough of summer swimming and wants to extend the season until late July, they have the option of being a part of COAST (City of Alpharetta Swim Team) in July. The STATE Championship meet will be held in Columbus, GA on July 19-20. Please click on this link if you are interested, then click on 2024 COAST Qualifying Info for details. Other than passing on this information, Crooked Creek is not a part of this swim meet.
  • a.IF YOUR SWIMMER IS INTERESTED…they must attend the ASA Championship Meet on June 28. Please let use know when you send us their ASA Swim Meet entries, so we can code them appropriately. We need to know by Thursday 11:00pm at the latest. We have to give entries on Friday and have to do special coding for COAST
  • b.If your swimmer chooses to be a part of COAST, they can enter up to 3 individual events for the ASA Championship Meet
• 4)Banquet – Last call to RSVP for the banquet – by Friday at 12pm. Signup is on the Summer Calendar Tab of the website.
  • a.Banquet – Thursday, June 27 from 9am to 12pm. Come hungry, get awards and then pool time at the end!
  • b.Returning Swimmers – Wear your medal from last season with your Crocs pin! This year you will get a new pin to put on your medals.
  • c.New Swimmers – you will get a medal and the pin for this season to put on your medal. Every season you return to the Crocs, you get a new pin.
• 5) Meal Train for the Darnells – Many of you knew Shanna Darnell. She was such a big part of our swim team and always jumped in to help volunteer whenever needed. She passed away this Fall and the Crocs would like to extend help to her family this summer by providing meals twice a week. • Away meet at White Columns (300 Clubhouse Drive, Milton, GA 30004). Arrival no later than 4:30pm. Warmups at 4:45pm. Meet starts at 5:30pm.
• ASA Meet signups due by 11:00pm.

Friday – Last Fun Friday

• 9:00-9:45 6/u and 7/8 fun with coaches
• 9:45-10:30 Pancakes for all and last Crocs of the Week
• 10:30-11:15 older kids – fun with coaches
