Good Evening Swim Team Families,

Clinics – are up and running for the summer. Please sign up and pay prior to attending your first clinic – details are posted on the Signup Genius site
Fun Friday – This season, we are adjusting the Fun Friday schedule – see above. For this Fun Friday, we will be making pancakes.
- Griddles Needed – I could use 2-3 more electric griddles for Fun Friday this week. If you don’t mind to lend me yours, you can give it to Mrs. Beard by Thursday this week. It will be returned to you after Fun Friday concludes – [email protected]
Picture Day – Tuesday, June 4 is Picture Day! – There will not be a practice for Picture Day. Instead, individual pictures will be taken starting at 9am with a target team picture time of 10:30am. There will be a chance for siblings to also get pictures together as well. All swimmers will be taking an individual photo, even if you do not intend to order pictures. This is different from past seasons where you ordered pictures when you arrived. Our new company takes all pictures and then sends out a link to their website with ordering options after pictures have been taken.
Last Minute Changes – the buildup to a swim meet can get a bit crazy and there are times when kids get sick on the day of a meet or something happens. If your swimmer was initially signed up to swim in a meet and is no longer able to swim on Thursday, please let Mrs. Beard ([email protected]) and the coaches ([email protected]) know ASAP. If they know ahead of time, the coaches can adjust the lineup.
Volunteer Positions – Summer Swim Team truly takes a village of parent volunteers in order to be fully operational. If you are able and didn’t sign up to volunteer for this meet, please reach out to Megan Melchiors if you can help out.
Webpage – our Swimtopia website has many different resources for our families. Coach Claire created a “Recommendations” page of swim gear that you can purchase through our vendors and on Amazon – please check out the page for any questions on swim gear.
1st Time to a Swim Meet? Go to our website and read the information on the Meet Info Tab - there are two mini-pages attached to this that have up to date and very informative information about what to bring to a swim meet, how to read Event, Heat and Lane on a swimmer's arm and the order of events.
Details on the Edenwilde Meet will follow separately.
