Hi Swimmers and Parents,

We are in that season of finals, testing, graduations, weddings, Mother's Day...life is busy. Thank you for taking the time to read this email and keep up to date with summer swim team.

1) Volunteer Requirements - Megan Melchiors sent out an email on 4/30 detailing our volunteer requirements for the season. We have 5 swim meets throughout the season (June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 27). You can get all of your shifts done early or spread them out over the season. Please reach out to Megan directly if you have any questions.

2) Announcer Needed - we are looking for a new announcer for the summer swim season. Ideally, this person would announce the races, thank our sponsors and call swimmers up for their events during the swim meet. You will be provided with a script. We have 3 home meets this season - June 1, 8 and 27 - you would be expected to be present for the whole meet. If interested, please let me know. This would satisfy your family's volunteer requirements for the season.

3) Non-residents - make sure when you come to the pool to enter the neighborhood via the main entrance on Hwy 9. At the first practice, we will have signs for you to put in your cars for the guards to see when coming to swim team events. For the first practice, the guards will be instructed to let swim team members into the neighborhood.
