NO PRACTICE Monday 5/31/21 - Enjoy the long weekend!

Meet 1 at Windward - 5/27/21 (TOMORROW!)

• Swimmers will get race numbers at practice tomorrow morning
• Meet is at Windward Lake Club (2001 Lake Windward Drive Alpharetta, GA 30005)
• All swimmers must arrive at Windward by 4:30pm and check in at swimmer check in table (with Coaches) immediately upon arrival (if your swimmer didn't get his/her races at practice please arrive by 4:15pm)
• All volunteers (1st & 2nd half) please check in at volunteer check in table (with Amy Beard) upon arrival at 4:30pm and no later than 5pm. All questions regarding job duties and all supplies needed for your position will be provided at check in.  
• We still need 3 more volunteers for tomorrow's meet. PLEASE volunteer if you are able!
• Crooked Creek warm up is at 5pm sharp. Volunteer meeting will take place at this time as well. 
• Meet starts at 5:30pm and is expected to last approximately 3 hours. 
• Crooked Creek spectators are allowed to set up by the Funbrella at Windward (see map attached). No chairs are allowed to be set up around the pool. 
• NO BULLPENS this season. Parents keep your swimmers with you and bring them to Event's manager for your child's age group 4 events before their race.  We will have signs for where you can find events managers. Don't let your child miss his/her event!
• Windward will have concessions available (Full grill is credit only and ice cream, smoothie king and pizza by the slice and drinks are cash or credit).
  

Meet 2 at Milton - THURSDAY (6/3/21)

• Signup for Meet 2 is open and will close on Monday 5/31 at noon. Every swimmer must declare either attending or not attending. Click HERE for instructions on how to declare your swimmer's intent for the meet.  DECLARE NOW BEFORE THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND! 

Clinics - START TUESDAY 6/1

• Optional swim clinics are offered on a first come first serve basis during the Monday through Wednesday morning practices in June. These are limited to 5 swimmers per clinic. 
• Sign up in advance required for clinics via Sign up genius posted on team website under the 2021 Practice Info Tab. 
• Clinics are held from 10:00-10:30 each day and focused on improving techniques of each stroke as well as starts and turns. 
• Clinics cost $5 cash or Venmo and the fee is collected by Coach Brooke before the clinic begins. 
• Please arrive by 9:45 to allow time for payment and line up before the clinic begins at 10am. 
• Clinic sign ups will be posted each Thursday or Friday for the following week. If you are unable to find an opening in the stroke you want, please check back the following week.  
• 6U swimmers should register for 6U clinic unless already proficient in freestyle, backstroke and starts.
