Hi Crooked Creek Families,

I’d like to introduce myself – Amy Beard – mom to Alexander (10). I will be coordinating parent volunteer positions at each swim meet. Any information regarding volunteer positions at swim meets will come to/from me. Please feel free to reach out to me this summer through the Crooked Creek Crocs email ([email protected]) – ATTN VOLUNTEER.

Our first swim meet is around the corner (May 27) and we need to get our parent volunteers organized in order to make sure that the first meet runs smoothly. During the season, each family of swimmers is responsible for volunteering for a total of 4 shifts (1 shift is equivalent to ½ of a swim meet). Working 1st shift is for Events 1-46. 2nd shift is for Events 47-86. All volunteer positions are described on the team’s website under the MEET INFO tab – VOLUNTEER POLICY. 

This summer season is unique in that some volunteer positions have changed or have been eliminated in order to reduce crowded areas and provide more efficiency to swim meets. Please make sure to read through each job description carefully before selecting that position. We will do our best to honor volunteer requests, but as we have all learned in the past year, expect that changes might occur. NOTE – Per ASA (Atlanta Swim Association) league guidance, the TIMER and DECK MANAGER positions require the volunteers to wear a mask during their shift.

The website is ready for you to sign up for volunteer positions for all of the swim meets. Please do this ASAP using the following instructions

TO SIGN UP FOR A VOLUNTEER JOB:

• Log In to the Website. Log-In is found in the upper right hand corner.
• Sign on to your account. If you can’t remember your password, click "Forgot your password" to reset your password.
• Under the Calendar of Events tab, find the meet and select "Meet Entry" to sign-up for a swim meet.
• Click the green JOB SIGNUP tab and sign up for volunteer shifts.
• Click Save Assignments.
• Click Back to Sign-up Calendar.
• To check your volunteer assignments, click your account name in the top right hand corner to view your volunteer assignments.
