Practice Rules
It is our goal to make this a safe and fun season for all our swimmers and families. Please read and explain these important rules to your family before the first day of practice. Let's all do our part to make this a great season for everyone!
- In order to limit capacity on the pool deck, only one parent per swimmer will be allowed on the deck during practice. Please avoid bringing siblings to practice whenever possible.
- 6U parents should stay on deck during practice, others age group parents may drop off but swimmers must be picked up promptly at the end of their practice.
- Once a swimmers practice time has ended they should exit the pool deck immediately.
- Slide pool is closed during all practices and meets. No lifeguards are on duty during practice and coaches need to focus on coaching so it is imperative that no one enter or wade in the slide pool at any time during practice or meets.
- Masks are not required however, swimmers and parents should practice social distancing while on the pool deck. Coaches will be distancing swimmers both in the water and on the deck. Please ask your swimmer to adhere to the coach instructions.
- Swimmers should not attend practice or meets if they have symptoms of, a positive test for or were recently exposed to Covid-19. It will be at the coach discretion to ask any swimmer to leave practice if they are exhibiting any COVID symptoms.
- Swimmers should not share gear during practices. That includes water bottles, goggles, kick boards, etc.
- Parents, please refrain from asking questions of the coaches during practices. Coaches need to be 100% focused on the pool and swimmers during all practice times. There is a 15min break between afternoon practices to ask questions or you are welcome to contact them at any time via email at [email protected].
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we navigate this new world. We want more than anything for this to be a positive experience for the kids and for them to love the sport of swimming and we hope you will help us in ensuring this is possible and we work through the details of this season.
See you all on Monday!!
GO CROCS!!
