Swim Practice reminders
Welcome to all of our new and returning Croc families! We had a great 1st day of practice this afternoon. The pool was certainly the place to be! With it being the first day, we thought it would be good to remind everyone of the gatehouse procedure and pool rules.
Gatehouse Procedure : All Non-Residents should enter Crooked Creek by the front entrance off of Hwy 9. Please provide the guard with the swimmer’s last name and be prepared to show him/her your driver’s license.
Pool Policies: Our first and foremost priority is the safety of everyone in the pool area during swim practices and meets. As in past years and for liability reasons, the Crooked Creek HOA and Pool Committee have asked that the slide pool be closed during all practices and meets. In case you haven’t had a chance to review the Practice Policies on the team website, please note the following:
- During practices you are more than welcome to stay at the Crooked Creek pool. If you drop your swimmer off, you must ensure an adult is available to pick up your child when practice is over.
- No one is allowed in the slide pool during practices.
- Children are allowed in the main pool only at their designated practice time. If not practicing, they need to stay off the deck where the coaches will be walking and working with swimmers.
- Swimmers and families must adhere to the Crooked Creek pool rules for all attendees. This includes monitoring and managing siblings who may be on the pool deck and playground.
Team Swimsuits and Spiritwear: Team swimsuits are in and will be available for pick up this week during practice times. Spiritwear orders will be distributed the week of May 28th. If you missed the May 4th deadline, we’ll have a small number of items available for purchase at these times as well.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
